The weather was not kind to us but the information shared, sites seen, conversations had and steps were.     North Walsham is an incredibe place in North Norfolk. Last year we were fortunate to work on its Market Place and other town centre improvements as part of the wider High Street Heritage Action Zone (HAZ) Project, alongside our client North Norfolk District Council. The works completed last year and it’s been brilliant to see how the town centre has grown and how the local community are using the outdoor spaces. More recently, director Shona Hatton attended the opening of a new community space, Black Swan Loke. Transformational works have taken place to turn a derelict and un-used yard into a community garden. As part of the Heritage Action Zone’s Cultural Programme, over 120 North Walsham residents contributed their ideas towards a mural in cultural workshops, providing their favourite elements of the town and its history. A mosaic was subsequently designed and assembled by artist Gary Drostle, featuring these elements, and is displayed in Black Swan Loke for residents and visitors to see. #northnorfolk #northwalksham #placemaking #publicrealm #communitygarden

    Yesterday was the Tower Gardens Community Planting day. 🌻 Tower Gardens is a public realm project of ours in Skegness, where we are working alongside Skegness Town Council. In the sunshine, an impressive 80 volunteers joined us with 30 planting, which included experienced planters. Volunteers included people from a local day centre and their carers. A wonderful day of community spirit and we are looking forward to seeing the plants and flowers flourish for the people of Skegness and its visitors. #skegness #publicrealm #landscape #landscapearchitecture #landscapedesign #planting #consrtuction #lincolnshire

    Being an ambassador for Team Lincolnshire is a fantastic way to support the efforts of the local authority in driving inward investment into Greater Lincolnshire. It is also incredibly satisfying to work alongside other ambassadors who have the same proactive attitude to championing the region, and having conversations that will grow the region and our businesses. Team Lincolnshire run regular events which are engageing and informative.
