Kathryn and Lily joined a walk around the grounds and along the River Witham, led by Woodland and National Trust Ranger, John Beirne. Thanks to John for sharing his knowledge of the habitats and introducing us to some of the unique and unusual trees that grow there!     Collaboration for good 🤝🙌🏽 🌱 Sorcha had a fantastic time at the above event today hosted by @lincschamber (LCC), with speakers Annabelle Scalter, Membership Sustainability Advisor (ESG) and John Thomas, Business Development Manager at @ruddocksagency Annabelle spoke about the Sustainability Performance Tool and the Small Business Sustainability Mark that they have launched. It’s been a Knowledge Transfer Partnership between Innovate UK, LCC and the @unilincoln that has been in development for the last 18 months, designed for professionals, entrepreneurs and organisations committed for sustainability in Greater Lincolnshire. John Thomas spoke about Ruddocks' commitment to responsible business, from sustainability embedded across its operations, to actively working towards B Corp certification, as well as becoming carbon neutral by 2030. This is part of its commitment to people, planet and performance.     Sandilands accessibility update 🌾⬇️ A great milestone has happened at our project @ntsandilands this week. A new fully accessible toilet has been installed by the @nationaltrust - improving accessibility to what will be a new wetland nature reserve on the Lincolnshire Coast. The Changing Places toilet has been added as the Trust develops the visitor facilities as it transforms the former golf course, near Sutton on Sea, into a year-round nature reserve.     Team Lincolnshire delivers again! 🙌🏽 As a proud ambassador of Greater Lincolnshire and member of Team Lincolnshire, we support as many of the group's events as we can and they are always well organised and engaging. Today was no different at the Focus on: Construction event held at Boston College. Influence, alongside YMD Boon, RG Carter, Thornton Firkin, Price & Myers, CPW, Marrons Planning and Boston College, are working together on the incredible Mayflower Project. Steve Day at YMD Boon gave guests an overview of the scheme, it’s background and the ambitions for this important new site.     Yesterday, Sara had the pleasure of attending the Team Lincolnshire Summer Soiree - a fantastic afternoon of networking, conversation, and connection at the beautiful Coach House at @doddingtonhall 🌞 Set against the stunning backdrop of the hall’s gardens, the event brought together fellow ambassadors for a relaxed and engaging social, complete with summer garden games, a delicious BBQ lunch made from locally sourced produce, and of course, a celebratory glass of bubbly! A big thank you to the organisers for hosting such a memorable event - it was the perfect setting to strengthen local partnerships and champion all that Lincolnshire has to offer.
