    Today we have had a team site visit to one of our projects, Oakley Grove School in Leamington, so team members can experience a live construction site, and see our work within the development. We enjoyed an external tour of the site with Willmott Dixon senior building manager, Matt Moe, and our senior landscape architect Lindsey talked through the landscape design, explaining areas of particular interest or difficulty, and the decisions made throughout the design process to get to the end result.     Throwback to seeing our project Tower Gardens, Skegness, in the media last month. It marked the completion of the first phase of works by G F Tomlinson as part of a masterplan to reinvigorate the historic Gardens in the seaside town. On behalf of Skegness Town Council and @heritagelincs and procured through Scape, the works are breathing new life into the gardens and ensuring this important space continues to be accessible by all and a wonderful place to enjoy. We’re proud to have provided our landscape architecture services and to be working closely with @gftomlinson and other partners to enhance this community space.     📣 Landscape design project update - Chesterfield Canal 📣 Work has now started on the restoration of the Chesterfield Canal, part of a 2.6kmm leg from Staveley Basin to just south of Renishaw in Derbyshire. Principal Landscape Architect Kathryn Dunk tells us more: “Working alongside Rodgers Leask, our landscape design will create attractive seating areas and viewing points as well as offering opportunity for play, interpretation and succinct wayfinding. “A soft landscape proposal, based on native tree and shrub planting, areas of wildflower meadow and aquatic planting along the length of the canal, will create an attractive backdrop to the development, and provide a fantastic home for wildlife.” We are looking forward to seeing the works develop along the canal in what is a beautiful area. #landsapearchitecture #landscapedesign #derbyshire #chesterfield #nativeplanting
