    We are Finalists! 🙌🏼 Super pleased to share that our project, Tower Gardens, has been shortlisted for the Development under £5m category at the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce Lincolnshire Construction & Property Awards 2025. Tower Gardens in Skegness, Lincolnshire, is a Grade II Registered Park and Garden and forms part of the original plan for the development of the town, drawn up in 1868. Following grant funding to make the gardens accessible for all and more attractive, a masterplan was created to bring a new vision and era to the gardens. On behalf of @skegnesstowncouncil we were asked to produce an innovative design reflecting the heritage of Tower Gardens and the surrounding area. Our landscape design future-proofed this primary green space and brought back to life beautiful historic features, such as the cascades, and created sensory areas as well as places for play and quiet reflection. Alongside partners @gftomlinson, @heritagelincs @gleedsglobal @westlindseylandscapes @mileswaterengineering SCAPE and D J Swallow Construction, we created an accessible and welcoming landscape for all to enjoy, safeguarding it for generations. ⛲️🌳🌷 We are looking forward to the awards evening and we'll see you there! #LCPA #lincolnshireconstruction #lincolnshirelandscape #landscapearchitects #landscapedesign

    Sara Boland had an interesting evening at the @landscapeinstitute Jellicoe Lecture - 'Making places Fit for Living'. She said "It was particularly interesting to hear from Frazer Osment at LDA Design. He spoke about the need to create a cohesive landscape that delivers wellbeing through the projects we work on. We need to ask a different question about how we solve the problem of using our existing knowledge by putting it together in a different way. What outcomes will the masterplan process achieve that makes people feel like theirs and their children's wellbeing is secured. My colleague Shona Hatton always says we deliver places not spaces. My thought is that it's about the narrative of landscape planning, understanding the context of and the impacts of a proposal on landscape and people, a positive landscape led design process that engenders the wellbeing of both people and landscapes and the management of that landscape for the foreseeable future and beyond. #jellicoe #LAlectures #landscapeinstitute #landscapedesign

    Works have officially started on a project we are really proud of, the renovation of a previous motorcycle shop into a new therapy centre for @naomisgardencharity in Lincolnshire. So many brilliant companies have come together offering a mix of their time, materials or labour for free or at cost price to make this new centre a reality. Due to the limited size of its current location, the children's charity currently has to turn away families who really need their specialist services. This new centre is bigger and once a full renovation is complete, it will be enable the therapists to support many more families in Lincolnshire and the East Midlands. GBM Demolition has commenced internal works and the local B&Q chose to have their community day in the garden. Along West Lindsey Landscapes Limited the team were busy digging, clearing, planting and painting - big thank you to all involved! Other big hearted members of the Naomi's Garden construction team include G F Tomlinson, A+G Architects, Gleeds, APSS, Tradeglaze, GRS Electrical and Knights. ❤️ #naomisgarden #childrenscharity #lincolnshire #conductiveeducation #construction #property #giveback
