    What a fantastic opportunity for us to speak at the RTPI Make it Happen conference yesterday in Nottingham. 🎤 The second year of the annual conference, organised by @ribaeastmidlands and @landscapeinstitute Sara Boland and Shona Hatton took to the floor to discuss Biodiversity Net Gain initiatives addressing BNG remits and how to apply this to projects from a design and planning angle. They presented alongside John Bristow, Senior Nature Conservation Officer at @leicestercitycouncil 🌱 A fantastic event which also featured presentations from students who are studying at local universities.     Wonderful to see International Bomber Command Centre on national and local news this morning with coverage of the poppy display for VE Day. From the first archaeological dig to the day the memorial Spire was installed on Sunday 10th May 2015, poppies appeared ceremoniously in the former agricultural fields of the IBBC site. Seeing the evolution of the design from its early concept through to the Poppy installation - celebrating 80 years of VE Day - reminds us of how proud we were as a local company to be involved in this iconic Lincolnshire project. #veday #lestweforget #lincolnshire #bombercommand #landscapedesign

    Our MD Sara Boland was recently on an @insiderbusinessnews panel briefing which discussed the challenges and opportunities of unlocking development. As the government has vowed to make it easier to build and create infrastructure, this discussion looked at how the public and private sectors can work together to overcome the challenges of building on key brownfield, greenfield and greyfield sites. Sara said: “It was a really interesting conversation amongst different professionals with different levels of experience in the industry. Together we discussed what the constraints and opportunities are for those around the table and some of the issues are universal for all of us.
