Landscape design and planning for factories, distribution centres and industrial sites
Influence specialises in Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments, supported by Verifiable Views, for industrial and energy projects in open countryside where sites are extended, repurposed or upgraded.
Glemsford, Mid Suffolk. With rbmp, we assessed a 40m addition to a former Philips factory, enabling gravity-fed chocolate production for GCB Cocoa. Set in a historic rural landscape with long views, our robust visual assessment contributed to planning approval.
Easton, Lincolnshire. We have supported this long-standing employment site over several years, most recently an anaerobic digester alongside an existing 40m cold store, with careful attention to the setting of Easton Park Registered Park and Garden.
Kendal, Cumbria. Again with rbmp, we assessed a 41m spray dryer for Kendal Nutricare, testing impacts on views from the Lake District National Park and World Heritage Site, and on the Conservation Area and Castle Scheduled Monument.
