    A huge thank you to everyone who joined us last night for our first ever Influence event in our new Newark office🎉 It was fantastic to welcome so many contacts from across the Newark business community🤝 This was our first time hosting an event in the new space - and it’s something we hope to make a quarterly fixture.     Influence Christmas party 🥳 We had such a wonderful time learning news skills and relaxing as a team at our Christmas party on Friday. It's been an incredible year for the business with many highlights and it's the perfect time to get creative and blow off some steam! We started the afternoon at Kawfee for Christmas Tree Pottery and Painting with the brilliant Emma Kimbley, followed by a few festive drinks in Noshi and then dinner at Skein.     🪴 Poacher's Patch launch - Lincoln City Foundation, Lincoln City FC 🪴 Super proud to have been part of the volunteer project team which pooled its expertise to transform an overgrown strip of land beside the pitch at Lincoln FC into a new community garden for children and adults. Driven by Lincoln City Foundation, an informal educational/ learning space has ben created with raised growing beds, habitats for wildlife, seating, and an open access area giving scope for small scale outdoor activities. Influence provided designs to help inform the garden and opened dialogues with suppliers on suitable material specifications. The space will be used by participants accessing existing Foundation community programmes, alongside providing a wellbeing space for Foundation and Football Club staff.     Women in Construction in Lincolnshire (WiCiL) - festive meet 🎄 In the perfect setting of Washingborough Hall in Lincolnshire, 50 women working within construction came together to listen, learn, be inspired and make new contacts. Sara, who is on the committee along with Jill McCarthly, Nick Worboys, Jenna Frudd and Helen Ritchie, welcomed the attendees and we heard from Chloe Sproston from our sponsor workplace consultancy Blueprint Interiors. Blueprint also organised a creative bauble making workshop with natural and preserved items and we certainly saw a lot of creativity in action and smiling faces with their designs. Thanks to Blueprint and Ought2 for a special afternoon. WiCiL will be back and bigger than ever in 2026! #wicil #womeninconstruction

    🎄 Wreath making workshop 🎄 This week we all got into the Christmas spirit as we enjoyed our annual team-wide wreath making workshop. @oldfarmhouseflowers in Lincolnshire were fantastic and provided a beautiful array of organically grown foliage from their flower farm a couple of miles from where we had our workshop. 🌷🌼🌸 We were stunned to hear that the average bouquet of flowers bought in the UK has travelled an average of 4000 miles, this includes from the site of growth to packaging and on to retail. We had a wonderful time getting creative and seeing each others wreaths as they were all so different. Well done team - another year of fantastic front door festive feels! 🚪🎅🏽 Many thanks to Old Farmhouse Flowers. #wreathmaking #christmas2025 #organicgrowing #landscapearchitects

    Nottingham Women in Construction 🏗 120 women from the construction sector at the Nottingham Women in Construction festive meet yesterday and what a group it is. It's size, impact and personality is impressive and welcoming. Truly inspiring talk from guest speaker Kate Tinsley, CEO of @mkm.buildingsupplies . So much shared but a resilient approach, being true to your own style of leadership and 'walking the walk' within business were key take outs. Raised funds for @junowomensaid and heard about the work the charity does and how to support it. To top off the afternoon, Shona won a raffle prize - tickets to see a @officialnffc Netball Game at @nottinghamarena 🏆 Thanks to the committee; Carrie Booth Laura Sowter, Jessica Hird, Michelle Doroszenko, Charlotte Whincup and Naomi Brown. #nwic #rafflewinner #landscapearchitect #constructionnottingham

We were invited this week to an expert Q&A panel that assessed the opportunities and investments happening in this vibrant Lincolnshire town. Heard from CATCH, Catapult, UK Seafood Federation, Abbeys Group, Wykland Group, E Factor Group, Seafox Management, Andrew Jackson Solicitors, and North East Lincolnshire Council. Key take outs are the many opportunities in this area but also the need in the Humber for 22,000 skilled construction and engineering workers. Grimsby - fit for the future, ripe for investment. #investgrimsby
