Jay Charles

Jay brings a practical and curious approach to his work at Influence, combining his interest in the natural environment with a growing passion for landscape design. Alongside his studies in Wildlife and Countryside Management at Nottingham Trent University, he is developing his skills in CAD, surveying and design, gaining hands-on experience alongside the practice’s landscape professionals. His previous experience as a farmhand has given him a strong work ethic, resilience and an appreciation of the practical realities of working with land and the environment. With A Levels in Geography, Business and Mathematics, Jay enjoys applying his analytical and problem-solving skills to new challenges as he explores the opportunities of a career in Landscape Architecture.
