Creating a sensitive and engaging landscape
A landscape-led vision for high quality design, Southampton’s Adanac Park is a large-scale mixed-use development incorporating green and blue infrastructure. The proposal will create a series of development parcels crafted to meet contemporary market needs while retaining the area’s unique characteristics.
Influence were brought on board by Barker-Mill Estates to carry out Masterplanning and Urban Design, Landscape Design, and a Townscape and Visual Impact Assessment (TVIA).
Our design concept draws on the woodland habitat surrounding the site, with structural landscape corridors and amenity spaces defining individual plot parcels. The landscaping scheme will retain the development’s structural integrity and complement its immediate setting, while addressing the environmental and ecological needs of a much broader area. Sensitive and engaging, it’s a cohesive landscape design that will benefit residents, employees and visitors alike.
