Consultation for a proposed Lodge Park, Holywell Grange, Snitterby, Lincolnshire.

Influence are currently undertaking Masterplanning, Landscape, Arboricultural and Visual Assessment services for a proposed new lodge park at Holywell Grange, Snitterby, Lincolnshire. Read more about the projects recent consultation day.

Influence Environmental prepared information boards and attended a Public Consultation event for a proposed lodge park in Lincolnshire.

The consultation related to high quality proposals for between 75-100no. lodge units in conjunction with a complementary small reception/ sales office and café/ shop counter space.

The existing development site includes extensive areas of tree planting, set out as plantations and copses, as well as a robust native hedgerow site boundary. The lodges are located within tree clearings and arranged in an organic form to respond to existing site features, including a large pond.

New landscaping, including tree planting, is proposed to soften and further buffer the development from the surrounding area while helping to divide units into natural ‘communities’ of smaller developments.

As well as the Masterplanning, Landscape, Arboricultural Survey and Visual Assessment work carried out by Influence, work will be required by the rest of the consultant team on Sustainability, Highways and potential Ecological Management matters.

Local residents and businesses were invited to review our current Masterplan, types of lodge buildings being considered for the site and proposed hard and soft landscaping palettes.

Approximately 40 people attended from two rural Parishes to review the proposals, ask questions and discuss their views.
