East Midlands Expo Event

This month Shona and Sara attended the East Midlands Expo – Property and Business Investment Show at the Nottingham Conference Centre.  The event is hosted by the Business Shows Group and is a key annual event in their calendar.

For Influence this followed on from the inaugural Lincoln Expo which took place in May 2017 at the Bentley Hotel, and was an opportunity to showcase projects such as the International Bomber Command Centre, Lincoln, Radford Bridge, Nottingham and Sea Change Sussex as part of our new display presentation boards.  We also took along two flower arrangements donated by the Eton Avenue Allotment Growers of Newark who are our nominated charity of 2017.

The day was a great success, well attended by hosts and delegates, with lots of opportunities to catch up with existing clients, make new contacts and discuss future projects and collaborations.  The location of our stand and the setup of the room led to plenty of footfall with a diversity of professions coming through the door including planners, designers, engineers and construction companies.  Shona and Sara already have meetings in the diary and are excited about future prospects and synergies, and of course next year’s event.
