The Yacht Club sets sail

The new sea defence takes shape at the Royal Southern Yacht Club.

Here are recent site photos of the Prince Philip Yacht Haven, and a short update since our initial article in August 2014.

This £1.6 million pound structure will protect the yacht club for the next hundred years, and form the base for The Quarterdeck – an extended terrace area to support outdoor dining and events.

Influence have been appointed by the Yacht Club and Marina Projects Ltd to design the hard landscape and planting proposals for the scheme. This will complement the enlarged marina and club facilities, providing a flexible outdoor space for members and visitors to take in the maritime environment and views of the River Hamble.

We look forward to overseeing the landscape works take shape later this summer.
